As a cosmopolitan African women’s wear brand, Osuare has been catering to the irresistible demand for higher quality pieces that reflect originality and heritage since 2007. By drawing inspiration from different cultures globally, as well as within the African continent, the brand has grown to become cherished in the industry and among ladies who seek that extra touch to their apparels. The label is meant for women of all shapes and sizes, and offers bespoke / ready-to-wear pieces that are distinguished with hand dyed fabrics, hand painted prints and embellishments which makes them distinctively personal, elegant, stylish and timeless.
The driving force behind Osuare has always been our unquenchable passion for fashion, combined with an effort to design pieces that are cherish-able and tied to a story.
We showcased our designs at the charity “Reforestation Fund Raising Ball in aid of the IITA Forest Project” in 2012, then at the Nigerian fashion week 2014 and African fashion week Nigeria in 2015.
After the release of our SS 16 Unbroken collection, we were invited to showcase at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2016, which led to us being featured on Elle South Africa, Vogue Italia, and Grazia Mag. In November 2016, we also invited to showcase at the Angola International Fashion Show.
Our pieces have appeared live on Ebony Life TV, Africa Magic Star Gist, You&I With Monalisa, and Tinsel, as well as publications like Bella Naija, Genevieve Magazine, Gem Magazine, Vanguard Allure and This Day Style.
